Rector's Announcement on payment of material benefits for students in July 2022
Acting based on Article 95 section 1 item 1 of the Act of 20 July 2018 – “Law on Higher Education and Science”(Journal of Laws of 2022, item 574 as amended), and § 1 section 2a of the Regulations on the benefits for students of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, constituting an appendix to the Ordinance of the Rector of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin of 28 September 2021 (hereinafter referred to as “Regulations”), in reply to the application of the UMCS Student Government, I extend the period of payment of material benefits for students to 10 months in the 2021/2022 academic year, i.e. to July 2022.
The payment of the benefits in July 2022 shall take place on the dates provided for the payment of benefits in previous months.
At the same time, I indicate that according to §13 section 1 of the Regulations the student is obliged to inform the officers at the Dean’s Office about any occurrence that affects their rights to receive granted benefits.
