The UMCS Political Science and Journalism magazine "Polformance" has established cooperation with the AZS UMCS Lublin club. The cooperation aims to promote both organisations and support expanding knowledge about the club and its athletes among the academic community. The agreement is valid from November 2021 to June 2022. Under the agreement, members of the Student Journalism Club and the "Polformance" Magazine will receive, among others, tickets for selected matches of AZS UMCS Lublin athletes, thanks to which they will be able to cover the latest events in the world of sports in Lublin.
Activity at such a developed club as AZS UMCS is an excellent opportunity for our club members in media management. Journalists of "Polformance", in addition to writing articles for the magazine's website, have the opportunity to report on Instagram from matches of teams representing UMCS, thanks to which our journalists will gain new competencies, and members of the AZS UMCS Lublin club will receive significant support - said the editor-in-chief of the "Polformance" magazine. Magdalena Sadłowska.
During the official conclusion of the cooperation, prof. Dr hab. Iwona Hofman, Director of the Institute of Social Communication and Media Sciences, founder of the Student Journalism Club and Polformance Magazine, Magdalena Sadłowska - editor-in-chief of Polformance Magazine and Dominik Małys, Vice President of AZS UMCS Lublin.
- We are glad that our sports family has joined the Polformance editorial team. Nowadays, media support significantly contributes to the development of academic sport in our community - said Dominik Małys, Vice President of AZS UMCS Lublin. - From this place, we would like to thank the Supervisor of the Society, Professor Iwona Hofman, for the trust and the Board of the Student Journalism Society for the opportunity to cooperate. The Student Journalism Club has been operating at the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism since 2004, actively participating in student culture and scientific activities. SKD members helped organise this year's edition of the Lublin Science Festival or coordinate the voting process at our University in the "Mediatory" Student Awards Plebiscite. An inseparable element of the circle is "Polformance" - UMCS Students' Magazine of Political Science and Journalism, which brings together writing enthusiasts from all over the University.
