We are pleased to announce the success of the UMCS interdisciplinary research team - Professor UMCS, dr hab. Grzegorz Marcin Wójcik (project manager) from the Institute of Computer Science, Dr Ewelina Panas from the Institute of Political Sciences and Administration (Department of International Relations) and Dr Marcin Gołębiowski from the Institute of Legal Sciences (Department of Constitutional Law) obtained funding in the Intervention Grants competition of the National Agency for Academic Exchange.
As part of the project entitled "Understanding the Brain Fog - Research on COVID-19 Post-Infectious Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, " a team of researchers will conduct a 12-month study in cooperation with a foreign partner - Ben Gurion University of the Negev (Israel).
The project team will also include employees of the Department of Neuroinformatics and Biomedical Engineering headed by Professor Grzegorz Marcin Wójcik, composed of: mgr Łukasz Kwaśniewicz, mgr inż. Andrzej Kawiak, M.Sc. Bernadetta Bartosik, Krzysztof Wróbel, MA.
The purpose of the NAWA Intervention Grants program is to support international cooperation of research teams undertaken in response to sudden, important, unforeseen social, civilization and natural phenomena with global or regionally significant consequences.
