Applications may be submitted only by new first-year students enrolled in:
- first-cycle, bachelor’s degree programmes (undergraduate),
- second-cycle, master’s degree programmes (postgraduate)
- long-cycle, 5-year master’s degree programmes.
New students who did not submit their applications earlier are also entitled to apply.
To log into the USOSweb system for the first time, visit the following website: https://login.umcs.pl/ and click on “Reset password”. On the next page, type in the e-mail address provided during registration for a study programme. You will shortly receive an e-mail notification with your login and a link to set a new password (remember to check your SPAM and notifications folders).
Applications for on-campus housing should be submitted ONLY via the USOSweb system.

Applicants in specific circumstances, requesting a placement in University-provided housing e.g. single parents, persons with disabilities, orphans or a half-orphans, a student marriage, should deliver copies of documents which confirm circumstances referred to in the application submitted via the USOSweb:
- in person, to the Commission for Student Dormitories (the Office of Student Affairs of the Centre for Education and Studies Management, “Helios” dormitory, room 5, Monday–Friday, 9:00–14.30) or
- send scans of relevant documents to: akademik@poczta.umcs.lublin.pl
Disabled persons who use a wheelchair or walk on crutches should indicate this fact on Page 4 in the USOSweb system.
After 16th October 2017, the Commission for Dormitories will publish the results of the third round of applications for on-campus housing in the USOSweb system.
The choice of assigned places must be confirmed ONLY on the USOSweb platform by 25th September 2017 at the latest.
