The holiday season is a special time. UMCS students staying in the dormitories come among others from Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Vietnam, India or from African countries. Having them in mind, on December 6, 2020, Vice-Rector for Students and Quality of Education, prof. Dorota Kołodyńska together with the representatives of the Students' Union, Rector's Proxy for Students Affairs Dr. Ewelina Panas and Dr. Marcin Gołębiowski from the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University Promotion Center, donated gifts to the residents of nine UMCS dormitories. Over 1,145 gifts were prepared for all residents of UMCS dormitories. Additionally, students received Christmas cards in Polish, Ukrainian, Belarusian, Russian, Azerbaijani and Swahili. It all happened within the Welcome to Poland Program organized by the National Agency for Academic Exchange. We wish you all the best!
