We are pleased to inform you that on the upcoming Easter Saturday (03/04/2021) from 10:00 am, for students staying in the academic dormitories during Easter break, breakfast portions will be delivered in advance. The packages will be available to students who, due to the pandemic and long distances from their homes, will not spend the holiday season with their loved ones. This is especially true of international students.
After that, at 12:00 pm, an online meeting will begin on the MS Teams platform, during which it will be possible to talk in a festive atmosphere with Prof. Dr. hab. Dorota Kołodyńska, UMCS Vice-Rector for Students and Quality of Education, with Dr Ewelina Panas, UMCS Rector's Proxy for Internationalization, with Dr Marcin Gołębiowski, Director of the UMCS Promotion Center and with Mr Maciej Cieciora, Chairman of the Promotion and Marketing Committee of ZUSS UMCS. This is a great opportunity to spend time together as an academic community for a while before Easter.
It is worth noting that most students staying in the dormitories of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University are mainly people of other nationalities. We remember about them during the Easter break, and we would like to give a home-made meal prepared for this occasion.
About 700 portions will be prepared by employees of the academic canteen "Trójka". The breakfast set will include Easter soup with a separately prepared package containing an egg and fresh bread. The packages will be delivered by the UMCS Academic Legia Association cooperating with the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University.
The event was initiated by the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University Promotion Center in cooperation with The University Board of the Student Government (PL: ZUSS) and the UMCS Academic Legia Association.
