Ballads and Other Songs Made in #JazzUMCS is a next concert of students of UMCS Faculty of Arts. This time young vocalists and instrumentalists shall present the audience with a programme combined of the pieces that are calm and mellow. The style of music arrangement of pieces is particularly hard to define as a listener will be able find elements of both jazz and contemporary pop music in them.
The programme is combined of Polish and American music. The audience shall be presented with an opportunity to listen to the pieces such as “Sound of Silence” by Paul Simon, “Every Breath you Take” by Sting, “Ja nie chcę spać” by Krzysztof Komeda, “Lubię wracać tam gdzie byłem” by Zbigniew Wodecki or “Powrócisz tu” by Irena Santor and “Witchi-Tai-To” by Jim Pepper.
The concert will be held in Chatka Żaka on 22.01.2019 at 7.00 p.m. (19.00).
