Accommodation in the UMCS student residence halls for the 2024/2025 academic year
Accommodation in the UMCS student residence halls will begin on September 26 and will end
on October 2, 2024.
Dear UMCS students and doctoral students
Please get aquainted with the Rector's Announcement from September 16, 2024, regarding accommodation in the student residence halls for the 2024/2025 academic year at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin.
We kindly ask you to read the Announcement carefully.
Accommodation in a residence hall can be arranged by confirming the date and expected time of arrival with the dormitory administration.
Registration will be conducted from 20 to 25 September, 2024 by staff of student residence halls via e-mail during administrative working hours.
Accommodation during the aforementioned dates will take place according to the following rules:
From 8 AM to 3 PM on working days (from Tuesday to Friday), on Saturday – Sunday during hours agreed upon with the administration of the student residence hall, in accordance with the scheduled date and time of entry for each person;
The number of students wishing to be accommodated in a residence hall on a given day will be determined individually by the manager of a given dormitory in consultation with the Head of the Management Section of the Student Residence Halls and the UMCS Academic Canteen;
To be accommodated, students shall report in person to the assigned dormitory with an ID card and a photograph (size: 3.5cm x 4.5cm) needed for the resident card.
Only items that are truly necessary for the stay should be brought to the dormitory.
Individuals who have been allocated a place in the student residence halls but are unable to appear on the specified dates due to health reasons are also requested to contact the dormitory administration to arrange an alternative date of accommodation.
Please note that the University reserves the right to cancel or modify the rules set forth in this announcement, particularly in the event of any changes being introduced.
