On 17th April, the Botanical Garden will reopen after the winter break. Plants gradually come to life, there are more and more eye-pleasing greenery and colourful flowers, so it is the perfect time for spring walks along our alleys.
Every day, the garden will be open from 10:00 am, while the closing hours of the gate will change as the day gets longer - in April, we invite you to 07:00 pm, in May until 08:00 pm. Kościuszko Manor House and greenhouses are closed until further notice.
The prices of admission tickets will change. The price of a normal ticket in the 2021 season is 7.00 PLN, and a discount ticket - 4.00 PLN. We strongly encourage you to purchase monthly or all-season tickets, which entitle you to an unlimited number of entries during their validity period. The current price list can be found at the ticket price list, and the applicable discount programs can be found at the discount programs link.
Due to the current epidemiological situation, the calendar of events for the coming season takes an open form, and individual proposals will appear on an ongoing basis if their organization is allowed by the applicable restrictions. During the summer season, as every year, we plan to organize classes as part of the "Summer Academy of Young Naturalists", a series of nature workshops for children and youth. Classes will be held following the applicable sanitary guidelines for the time of the pandemic. Moreover, the garden is also preparing an offer of workshops for seniors. Details of the events will be published on our website and the official Facebook profile of the Garden.
For the opening, we have also prepared a field game for the whole family, which will be available at our ticket office, and which we hope will encourage active walks and nature fun.
We invite you and wish that the UMCS Botanical Garden will become a place of communing with nature, relaxation for the region's inhabitants and tourists visiting our city.
