We encourage you to participate in the 12th edition of the Competition of the Mayor of Lublin for the best diploma thesis. We accept bachelor's, master's, engineering and doctoral theses in the field of the broadly understood development of Lublin, defended at any university and field of study, not earlier than 2018. The deadline for applications is 15th September 2021
There are two categories in the competition: authors of bachelor's, master's and engineering theses and the other for authors of doctoral theses. In each of them, the main prize of PLN 6,000 will be awarded. PLN and up to three distinctions, each in the amount of 2 thousand. zlotys. In addition, in the category of bachelor's and master's theses, there is a distinction in the form of a three-month paid graduate internship at the Lublin City Hall, with a total cash benefit of PLN 4.5 thousand of polish zloty. The winning works have a chance to influence the development of the city and the activities of the local government.
Dear Graduates and Students!
If you have defended your thesis on Lublin, do not keep it in a drawer and show it to us! If someone is still a student and has an innovative idea for the development of Lublin and how to increase its competitiveness, we encourage you to write your diploma thesis and take part in the competition. We offer support from the Lublin City Hall when collecting materials.

The competition of the Mayor of Lublin for the best diploma thesis devoted to the economic development of the city has a long tradition and has been conducted since 2010. The competition aims to increase students' interest in broadly understood local development issues, mainly in the economic, social, cultural and environmental context, and encourage students to undertake this topic in their research work.
