Prof. John S. Scheckter (Long Island University, NY, USA) will give a lecture titled "Desire Paths, Border Walls, and What Gertrude Stein Said about Oakland Indigenous Belonging in Current American and Australian Fiction".
The lecture will take place on November 9, 2018 at 13:00 in Faculty of Humanities Board Lecture Hall.
Prof. John Scheckter researches in American, Australian, Canadian, African and South Asian literatures, and comparative cultural studies. He is a founding member and former President of the American Association of Australian Literary Studies.
